Emotional Design

Publication design for educational purposes focusing on children aged between 10 - 13 years old. This project opened questions concerning appropriate visual design that induced learning. The challenge was to find a good balance between engagement and distraction. 

Key concepts:

–    Concious use of using rich illustrations rather than image material that brings interest through artistic awareness. 

–    Sans serif font for easier legibility. 

–    Space for taking notes and drawing to encourage hands-on enagement and learning through writing.

–    Use of QR codes to add another layer of knowledge via multi-media tools.
